KCET 2025 Result

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 result, one of the most anticipated announcements for engineering and medical aspirants in the state, is expected to be declared between May 22 and May 23, according to latest credible updates. While multiple YouTube channels have been speculating a release date of May 20, official sources have not issued any confirmation or notification as of now.

Why the Delay in KCET 2025 Results?

The primary reason for the delay is the pending PUC (Pre-University Course) results from certain boards, particularly CBSE, ICSE, and notably the Kerala State Board. A significant number of border-region candidates, especially from Kerala, are yet to have their second PUC marks officially announced.

Kerala board results are expected to be announced on May 21, and once those marks are available and uploaded, the KCET ranking process can proceed. As a result, candidates should realistically expect the result declaration around May 22 or May 23, 2025.

No Official Notification Yet

It is important to note that no official notification has been released by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) regarding the KCET result date. Claims made by various online sources, especially video content platforms, are unverified and should be treated cautiously.

Special Notice for Physically Handicapped Candidates

An official update has been issued for candidates who applied under the PwD (Persons with Disabilities) quota:

  • Candidates who submitted a valid UDID (Unique Disability ID) must attend a mandatory medical check-up.
  • Dates: May 26, 27, and 28, 2025
  • Location: Malleshwaram, Bengaluru
  • Only those certified as eligible after medical verification will be considered for the reserved quota during counseling.

The medical check-up will be conducted by an expert panel of doctors. A final list of eligible candidates under the PwD category will be prepared following this process.

What About Candidates Awaiting Exam 3?

Students who appeared for Exam 1 and 2 will be included in the primary counseling rounds. However, those awaiting results for Exam 3 will only be eligible to participate in Round 3 of KCET seat allotment.

Final Word

Candidates are advised to avoid rumors and wait for official updates from KEA. Although there is a strong possibility of the result being released between May 22 and May 23, nothing can be confirmed until the final board marks, especially from Kerala, are uploaded and processed.
